What got you interested in tattoos?

You know, that’s actually a really loaded question, to be honest. I like art is the simple answer. 


Is there one that’s of particular significance to you? 


I have a lot that are pretty significant. I have my whole back done, actually, and that’s probably like my biggest piece.

Is there one that I could take a picture of, and that you could tell me a bit of the story of why it’s significant?

My first one is actually on my leg. That was my first tattoo. 
And I actually got that one for my dad, he passed away. 
And so that was my first tattoo, because that was his favorite cartoon when he was a kid. So that has a lot of significance.

He had his own business that he ran and operated, and that’s Felix, Felix the Cat. 
I don’t know if you remember. 
So he actually incorporated Felix into one of his displays for his shop. 
So he had Felix in there.

And so in that picture, you’ll see he’s carrying a paint bucket and a paintbrush, because my dad was an artist. 
He was an artist.

Are you an artist as well?

I’m not. Everyone in my family’s an artist except me.
