I have “Strength” on this arm and “Honor” on this arm. I’m retired law enforcement, and the motto for my academy was strength and honor. Then I was on the SWAT team also, that was also the motto of the SWAT team. Strength and honor, but I also have Bible verses at the top. Deuteronomy 6:5, says, “Love the LORD your God, with all your heart, and with and all your strength.” And then 1 Corinthians 6:20 says “You were bought with a price, so honor God with your body.”
There’s a “1*” at the bottom. That’s a military term. When you break down it’s, one ass to risk on the team, on the SWAT team, kind of like the Three Musketeers, one for all, all for one. You have one to risk for everybody.
If you were going to choose the most important thing of your life and get a tattoo that represented it, what would it be?
The most important thing to me is my relationship with God, I’ve got another tattoo of a cross on my back. So I kind of have the tattoos.
The next tattoo, if I get any, would be names of my kids.
